I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these

brothers of mine, you did for me.

Matthew 25:40

Our Mission:

To help families by offering gently used clothing and toys at an affordable price.

Our History:

Since 1991, we have carried out our mission by offering the children's clothing and toy resale each spring and fall. The resale is run completely by the church and community volunteers.

How it works:

The sale: Each spring and fall, Grace Point Church of the Nazarene holds the children's clothing and toy resale for the community. The sale is open Saturday 8:00 am - 12:30 pm and provides clothes, toys, bikes, books, games, baby items (except car seats), bedding, and many other useful items for families.

Volunteers:

There are approximately 150 volunteer positions that must be filled for each sale, but they go very quickly. Volunteers work 4.5-hour shifts during the resale week (Sunday through Saturday). When you fill a shift, you are able to shop on Friday evening before the resale.

Sellers:

Approximately 250 sellers submit baby items, clothing, bedding, toys, books, and other children's items to sell. We provide an informational packet with guidelines for the sale. Sellers set their own prices and tag their own items. The seller receives 85% of the purchase price. Unsold items are either returned to the seller or donated.

Where the proceeds go:

The resale is not a fundraiser for Grace Point. The 15% that we keep goes toward the expenses of running each sale such as advertising, supplies, and equipment. Additionally, gift certificates are provided to families in need, and donations are made to community charities (such as A Hope Center, YWCA Women's Shelter, New Creation, or Coats for Kids).
